The Marstek VENUS A is a so-called “all-in-one” AC-coupled energy storage system (balcony/home battery) with integrated inverter and battery.
It is designed to store solar energy from a PV system, support critical consumption during power outages, and optimize energy use with smart control.
| Feature | Value / explanation |
|---|---|
| Design | All-in-one (battery + inverter integrated) |
| MPPT inputs | 4 independent MPPT channels (so you can connect multiple solar panels or strings) |
| Maximum PV input | Up to ~ 2.4 kW solar panel power |
| Basic battery capacity (starting) | 2.12 kWh (usable capacity) |
| Expandability / modular | Can be expanded up to a maximum of 12.72 kWh by connecting multiple modules (or units) |
| AC power (on-grid / auxiliary power) | 1.2 kW continuous, with peak power up to ~ 1.44 kW (for shorter load) |
| Switching delay (EPS / backup) | < 15 ms switchover in case of mains failure (so that important equipment can continue to operate briefly) |
| Battery cell type / lifespan | LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells, > 6000 charge/discharge cycles, designed for 15 years of use |
| Protection / environment | IP65 housing (dust and splash resistant) |
| Temperature range | Operation possible in temperature range from ~ –20 °C to +55 °C (or similar according to specifications) |
| Communication & integration | Support for WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, possible anti-feed-in function, smart meter connection |
| Price indication at launch | Approximately €499 for the base unit (2.12 kWh) in Germany at launch |
-
Increase self-consumption
The VENUS A can store excess solar energy so you can use it later instead of feeding it back into the grid. -
Backup / emergency power
In the event of a power failure, the unit can continue to supply essential loads (within the power limits) thanks to the < 15 ms changeover. -
Extensibility
Thanks to its modular nature, you can start with a smaller capacity and expand later as your needs grow. -
Smart control
As with many modern storage solutions, the VENUS A is expected to use smart algorithms (AI) to optimize charge/discharge timing based on consumption, solar yield and electricity prices. -
Compatibility with existing PV installations
Because it is an inverter + battery in one system, it can be easier to fit into balcony or smaller PV projects where space or modularity is desired.
The integrated EMS automatically optimizes consumption, storage, and grid load. In the event of a power outage, the system switches to backup power within ≤10 ms.
With a built-in EMS (Energy Management System), support for peak shaving, and flexible charge and discharge settings, energy balance is automatically adjusted to consumption, grid status, and storage.
With an IP66 enclosure, silent passive cooling, and real-time monitoring via app or WiFi, the inverter offers reliability, ease of use, and minimal maintenance requirements.
- Businesses may need to employ various types of legal pages on their websites or mobile apps. Some, like Privacy Policies, are required by law, while others, such as a Terms and Conditions agreement (T&C), are not. Regardless of legal demands, you may find that your company needs one or more legal pages for compliance and optimal operation.
- In this article, we will go over the most common legal pages, walk you through a summary of what each requires, and explain why you may need it. In addition, you'll find a sample template for each type of legal page so you can quickly get started writing your own.
