The HERF-500 is part of the HERF series of micro-inverters from Estar (Xiamen E-Star Energy), designed to convert DC (direct current) into AC (alternating current) per solar panel (or module), suitable for use in the electricity grid or for residential use. It falls into the "single unit" class of micro-inverters, along with the HERF-300 and HERF-400 variants.
The HERF-500 is designed for use in grid-connected PV installations where module-level optimization, flexibility and reliability are important.

Key Features & Benefits
-
Module-Level Optimization (MLPE) : Each panel is individually optimized — shading, mismatch, or panel performance have less impact on the system as a whole.
-
Low starting voltage & wide operating range : thanks to the low starting voltage (22 V) and wide DC operating voltage, the inverter can already operate in less than optimal light conditions.
-
High Efficiency : With peak efficiency of ~96.5%, it helps to maximize yield.
-
Rugged design : IP67 housing and a temperature range of up to +65 °C make it suitable for outdoor use in challenging conditions.
-
Low standby power consumption : < 0.05 W, which is beneficial to minimize energy loss at night.
-
Communication & Monitoring : By integrating wireless communications, you can remotely monitor status, performance, and errors.
-
Compatibility & Scalability : Suitable for PV panels within the specified DC range, easily integrated into residential or commercial systems.
The integrated EMS automatically optimizes consumption, storage, and grid load. In the event of a power outage, the system switches to backup power within ≤10 ms.
With a built-in EMS (Energy Management System), support for peak shaving, and flexible charge and discharge settings, energy balance is automatically adjusted to consumption, grid status, and storage.
With an IP66 enclosure, silent passive cooling, and real-time monitoring via app or WiFi, the inverter offers reliability, ease of use, and minimal maintenance requirements.
- Businesses may need to employ various types of legal pages on their websites or mobile apps. Some, like Privacy Policies, are required by law, while others, such as a Terms and Conditions agreement (T&C), are not. Regardless of legal demands, you may find that your company needs one or more legal pages for compliance and optimal operation.
- In this article, we will go over the most common legal pages, walk you through a summary of what each requires, and explain why you may need it. In addition, you'll find a sample template for each type of legal page so you can quickly get started writing your own.
